The USRobotics Serial ATA 4-Drive Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliance brings sophisticated, cost-effective and safe storage to small businesses, corporate work-groups and advanced households. Four drive bays allow customers to add up to two terabytes (2,000 Gigabytes) of storage. It includes powerful RAID hardware and software, the industry standard for safe storage across multiple drives, and simple to understand and use wizards. With integrated Gigabit networking and print server capability, it delivers excellent performance, value, functionality and peace of mind while easily expanding shared storage.

Powerful & Flexible Shared Network Storage
- Four accessible drive bays to easily customize to meet various storage needs.
- Operation as a client member in an Active Directory™ domain.
- Supports linear storage use (all drives as one logical drive) or use multiple drives as primary and back-up storage.
- Dynamic logical drive sizing - Add an additional drive, when needed, and it will be integrated into the logical drive with no effect on data.
- Two USB 2.0 ports support additional external hard drives
Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5 (hardware accelerated) and JBOD (for USB storage devices).

Integrated print server turns a supported USB printer into a network printer which can be shared among all network users.

Built-in Security
- User and Group level security settings (No Access, Read Only & Read/Write).
- Folder level security settings with parental inheritance.
- Administrative username/password login security for HTML-based configuration utility.

Advanced Back-up Capabilities
- Integrated Back-up software allows you to make an exact image of a computer’s hard drive and restore it completely, in case of a catastrophic failure.
- Supports client remote boot from backup on server using PXE boot or recovery CD.

Gigabit Connectivity
- Supports Ethernet connections at speeds of 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gigabit (1000 Mbps).
- Automatically detects, and matches the speed of connected Ethernet devices - 10/100/1000 Mbps.
- No cross-over cables required.

- HTML Wizard based tools, accessible via web browser, for initial set up and for configuration after adding or removing drives.
